long description:
Mein Standard-Format 70x100 cm und der Fotokarton haben mich schon lange dazu gebracht, die Malfläche ungezwungen zu nutzen und mit Gelassenheit an die Ausübung der Malerei zu gehen.
Ich male rund 8 Bilder an einem Tag, wobei ich im Schnitt 4-5 Bilder wieder zerreissen muss. Meine Maltechnik erlaubt keinen Fehler. Sobald ein Strich nicht sitzt, ist das Bild verloren - keine Korrekturen, kein Radieren.
Ich lebe in einer schnelllebigen Zeit, ich bin Künstler in seiner Zeit. Meine Bilder werden nicht besser, wenn ich eine Woche daran arbeiten würde – im Gegenteil. Meine Bilder sind wie Schnappschüsse in der Fotografie.
