Die Bibel, das Märchenbuch, erzählt alles so, wie es gebraucht wird. Wer weiß schon, das Eva gar nicht die erste Frau von Adam war? Das geht der Kirche gegen den Strich, weil Lilith, die erste Frau Adams, gleichberechtigt ist. Da muß also ein Ersatz her, der schön unterwürfig ist: Eva. So schickt man Lilith in die Wüste und aus Adams Rippen wird Eva geschöpft. Die muß natürlich immer schön dankbar sein. In meinem Bild kämpft Lilith noch einmal um Adam, kommt auf der Mondsichel daher und verletzt die Schlange. Die beiden Cherubimen, mit flammenden Schwertern, beobachten die Lage.
