Das Bild entstand vor der Natur während eines Plain Airs im Oktober 1992. Nachdem es einige Jahre geruht hatte, habe ich es noch einmal überarbeitet, da meine Erinnerungen an die Situation und das Motiv nicht mehr mit dem realen gemaltem Bild übereinstimmten.
Das Bild ist mit einem schmalen, naturfarbenem Holzrahmen versehen.
